LinkedIn Impressions vs Views

Created by Roanne Jane Jane Jaype, Modified on Wed, 21 Sep, 2022 at 2:00 PM by Roanne Jane Jane Jaype

An impression indicates that some content was loaded on the page and was viewable.

A view means that the content was viewed. The count for videos occurs after only 3 seconds, we cannot be certain it was a purposeful view.

For other post types, determining whether content has been viewed is tough: LinkedIn must rely on things like "see more" link clicks to determine whether the audience has taken a genuine interest in the content.
